My goal in education is to foster an environment where every student belongs and feels valued. Teaching English and Social Studies encourages students to think critically and evaluate information from different mediums. Students will walk out of my class with a love of learning and social awareness.
About meI am a former resident of LaGrange Park and a 2020 graduate from Lewis University. I currently hold a masters in secondary education and a bachelors in English from Illinois State University. Prior to teaching at St. Francis, I was a permanent substitute at Butler Junior High. When I am not teaching I am usually riding my bike, reading, doing yoga, or completing puzzles.
